About Me
Hi there! My name is Kamela and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Master of Science Degree in Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy from the University of Guelph.
I recognize that in life we all go through difficult moments and phases which can both challenge us and leave us feeling overwhelmed. During such times, the usual coping strategies we rely on may no longer be enough in ensuring that we are not just surviving in life but also thriving.
I have seen through first-hand experience the impact a strong therapeutic relationship can have on improving a person's quality of life. I will work with you during sessions to process your concerns, identify barriers that are getting in the way of achieving your goals, and explore healthier ways to cope with life's stressors.

What is Psychotherapy? How can it help me?
Psychotherapy or "talk therapy" is the process of working with a skilled therapist who uses evidence-based interventions. A good therapist can help you deal with difficult feelings, build self-awareness, and change unhealthy behaviour patterns to help you cope with difficulties and work towards meeting your goals.
Online Sessions are Available Throughout the Province of Ontario:
In order to make my therapy services accessible, regardless of where you live in Ontario, I provide sessions both online (video) and over the phone. In this way, you can join sessions from the comfort of your home.

To join the video sessions, all you need on your end is an internet connection! There is also no need to download any apps to access sessions.
I have been highly selective in choosing a private and confidential video conferencing service that has an encrypted connection and is both PHIPA and HIPAA compliant.

Due to reasons such as a lack of access to secure internet services, lack of privacy at home, and comfort/preference, I provide clients the option of having sessions over the phone.
In this way, clients can call me while they are out for a walk at a park, sitting in their parked car, etc.

We all have hectic schedules and sometimes this can becomes a barrier in accessing therapy services for ourselves.
To help make the scheduling process easier for you, I offer daytime, evening, and weekend appointments. This will allow you to book sessions at a time that works with your availability.
